Ten Heath Deeds Recorded in July, but Most Sale Prices Stay Private

Ten properties changed hands in Heath between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only four of the recorded deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $20,000 to $67,900 with a median of $49,800. The month's top disclosed sale was 54 Papoose Lake Drive at $67,900. Several transactions were not conventional home sales: two conveyed property interests to Massachusetts Electric Co. and Verizon New England, and at least three others transferred property between family members or trustees with matching names on both sides of the deed. With most prices undisclosed, the data offers a limited read on overall market conditions this period.
